The following links are to websites that allow people to easily donate to the cause, or to organizations that one can get involved with. As we post links that we feel no one should miss we will also put them here, so check back for updates.
- Food Bank Locator - Brought to you by Feeding America, all you have to do is type in your zip code and you’ll know where to go volunteer.
- Free Rice -users play various educational, multiple-choice games in order to fight world hunger. For every answer the user answers correctly, 10 grains of rice are donated.
- The Life You Can Save - A motivational organization that asks people to take a pledge and donate only 1% of their income, and then makes sure that money goes to make a difference.
- National Center for Children in Poverty- The NCCP attacks the problem at home. The link is directly to their page that gives you access to seeing the demographics of your state. You’ll be surprised at how many poor and low-income families you live among.
- Whatever It Takes - a unique artwork campaign launched by 21st Century Leaders Foundation. “We work with our leaders to assist and encourage a generation of influencers to take ownership, engage in positive action, raise awareness among their communities, and champion the solutions to poverty and environmental degradation.”
