Our Mission
Those of us with the privilege of Tumblr take much for granted. As we sit in our homes, air conditioned or heated, sipping on our coffee or our wine there are millions of people in other areas of the world (and among us) starving to death or barely making it day to day. It is so easy to get caught up in our hectic lives and forget about those people less fortunate, but it is important to never forget. We all need to be constantly reminded about humanities struggles in order to want to help. By following FuckNoPoverty you will integrate peoples’ hardships into your own daily life. Not only will you encounter stories of the deprived, diseased, and homeless but you will find ways that people have been able to help. We gladly accept anyones accounts of their hard times, or some that they witnessed, as well as inspirational stories (no matter how simple) of how you made a difference to a poor community or a single homeless man down the block. By reminding and encouraging each other we CAN make a difference.
